Member Benefits

Team Advocate participants Advocate greatly values its charity running team members. The fundraising minimum to participate in the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon charity running team is determined by Bank of America. Runners joining our team will be required to fundraise a minimum of $2,200.
Participants with their own entry are invited to join our charity team and support Advocate Health Care’s program and services, with no fundraising requirement.

As recognition of your hard work, all participants will receive:

  • Waived entry fee to the Bank of America Chicago Marathon
  • Access to Advocate Health Care’s team tent race morning, includes private restrooms, gear check and more.
  • Complimentary access to a comprehensive 18-week training plan, running schedule and weekly updates provided by Chicago Area Runners Associate (CARA)**.
    Training includes:
    • Your choice of group training or virtual training for participants who live outside of Illinois
    • Mid-week runs at a variety of locations throughout the city and suburbs
    • Weekend group long runs provided at 10 training locations throughout the city and suburbs
    • Mid-week runs at a variety of locations through the city and suburbs
    • Complimentary speed workouts
    • And more!

** A minimum of $300 fundraised is required before receiving CARA membership.
