KATIE & NORA ARE RUNNING THE CHICAGO MARATHON!!!! 

Welcome to our Southside Sisters fundraising page! We are excited to announce our journey to train for and run the 2026 Chicago Marathon on October 11, 2026!!

We will be representing Advocate Health Care as members of the charity running team at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in October! This is super exciting to us, as this is the first time we will be running together and working towards the BIG 26.2 throughout the city of Chicago. We are in week 5 of our training, and we still can't believe it! We hope you will consider supporting us in reaching our fundraising and running goals.

It is extra meaningful to the both of us that while we are training for the Chicago Marathon, we also get to raise funds to support a charity. We will be specifically fundraising to support The Kelly Paige Wells Perinatal Fund through Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The proceeds will make a positive impact by providing resources and support through programs, memorial events, support group materials, etc.. to families who experience perinatal and infant loss. As members of the charity running team, we will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to benefit these patients and families in need. We would love your support as we continue to train, fundraise, and work towards completing our goal of running the Chicago Marathon together!!!

By joining the charity running team, we are honoring an angel in our family, Kelly Paige Wells. For those of you that don't know Kelly's story, Kelly Paige Wells was Katie's daughter, & Nora's Niece. On July 2, 2019, Ben and Katie were given the devastating news Kelly did not have a heartbeat. She continues to be deeply missed in our family, but is watching over us and present for us everyday. In honor of Kelly, Ben and Katie, along with the support of family and friends, and Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn-- created a fund in Kelly's name in 2021, called The Kelly Paige Wells Perinatal Fund.
