Why I'm Running

On October 11, 2026, I will run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as part of the Advocate Health Care charity running team. Every mile I train for and every step I take across those 26.2 miles is for patients and families who are facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Since 2011, this team has raised over $2 million, supporting cancer research, individuals with Down syndrome, and the nurses and physicians who show up with compassion and strength every single day. I’m honored to run alongside people who believe, as I do, that care should be there when it’s needed most.
