Why I’m Running

On October 11, 2026, I’ll be representing Advocate Health Care as a member of the charity running team at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a team member, I’ll be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to benefit patients and families in need.

My team, team HeartMates, and I are raising money to support cancer research, help children and adults with Down syndrome, and support kids with serious heart conditions. As a Pediatric Cardiac ICU nurse at Levine Children’s, this charity is close to my heart and holds great significance for me.
