"A marathon is a lot like life, full of highs and lows, challenges and triumphs. It's not about how fast you go, but the strength to keep moving forward, one step at a time."

This October, I'll be running the 2026 Chicago Marathon to raise funds for the Advocate Sherman Hospital Cancer Center, the place that helped save my life.

As a breast cancer survivor, I experienced firsthand the exceptional care, compassion, and support provided by the team at Sherman during my double mastectomy and recovery. Today, I'm healthy, strong, and committed to giving back.

Your donation will help provide:

Cold capping services to help patients preserve their hair during treatment

Advanced technology, including ultrasound-guided IV equipment

Access to mammograms and early detection programs

Support services for patients and families facing cancer

This race is my way of honoring those who cared for me and supporting those still fighting their cancer journey.
