Why I'm Running

On October 11, 2026, I will be representing Advocate Health Care as a member of the charity running team at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a member of the charity running team, I will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to benefit patients and families in need. 

When I was a sophomore in high school my grandfather passed away from a heart condition. This sparked me to pursue a career in healthcare. My current position is an Exercise Physiologist where I help Cardiac, Pulmonary, and many other patients recover and grow themselves. I run for my grandfather, other family members, and my patients who are bettering themselves everyday! Seeing them recover is the most rewarding feeling and I want to fundraise for the Cardisc Care unit so people can continue receiving treatment.
