Why I'm Running

Hello! My name is Kendall Cerda! I am 17 years old currently, and I am from a small town in Illinois! Since I was younger I’ve always had a love for running and giving to others. One of my dream in life was to run a marathon, and I decided Chicago could be where I complete that dream! As I complete this dream of mine I also want to share my love of running with others by fundraising money for cancer research support, children and adults with Down Syndrome, and also to nurses and physicians who devote their lives to aiding and saving lives, and much more.

With your help, support, and donations, I can complete my overall fundraising goal for Advocate Health Care and my dream to complete 26.2 miles in Chicago on October 12, 2025! Anything and everything is greatly appreciated!
