Why I'm Running
On October 12, 2025, I will be representing Advocate Health Care's charity team to run and raise money for cancer research at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Running a marathon has been a personal goal of mine for quite some time, and this year felt like the right moment to challenge myself to reach this goal while giving back. This cause is close to my heart. Like many, I’ve had family and friends affected by cancer. Their experiences are a big part of what’s motivating me, and I hope that by running and raising money for cancer research I can make a difference for those in need.
Since 2011, the Advocate charity running team has raised over $2 million for Advocate Health Care programs and services. You can be part of this effort too. A donation of any amount will not only support my goal but also help ensure that more than one million people have access to high-quality care, close to home.
