Why I'm Running
On October 12, 2025, I will be representing Advocate Health Care as a member of their charity running team at the Chicago Marathon! I will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to benefit patients and families in need.
Since 2011, the Advocate charity running team has raised nearly $2 million for Advocate Health Care programs and services. I’m running to support Advocate Health Care because their mission to provide essential healthcare services to underserved populations resonates deeply with everything I’ve worked for in my career. Over the years, I’ve fought for access to care for those living with HIV, championed women’s reproductive rights, and worked to ensure survivors of sexual assault receive the care and support they need. Having loved ones affected by these issues, I am especially motivated to raise funds for Advocate Health Care. This cause is personal, and I’m proud to support Advocate’s vital work.
