Why I'm Running
On October 12, 2025, I will be representing Advocate Health Care as a member of their charity running team at the Chicago Marathon! I will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to benefit patients and families in need.
Since 2011, the Advocate charity running team has raised nearly $2 million for Advocate Health Care programs and services. I’m running to support Advocate Health Care because their mission to provide essential healthcare services to underserved populations resonates deeply with everything I’ve dedicated my career to. I’ve focused on helping people living with serious and complex conditions (like HIV, cancer, MS, and autoimmune diseases) access the care they need, while also standing behind the right of every survivor of sexual assault to receive compassionate, comprehensive support. Having loved ones affected by these issues, I am especially motivated to raise funds for Advocate Health Care. This cause is personal, and I’m proud to support Advocate’s vital work.
