Why I'm Running
On October 12, 2025, I will be representing Aurora Health Care as a member of the charity running team at the Chicago Marathon.
I'm normally a trail runner, but I'm taking to the roads to support the incredible work of the Bread of Healing Clinic right here in Milwaukee. The Bread of Healing Clinic provides essential healthcare services to our community members who need it most. They offer compassionate, dignified care regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, serving as a vital safety net for uninsured and underinsured individuals and families in Milwaukee. Their mission of healing extends beyond medical treatment—they restore hope and human dignity to every person who walks through their doors.
The clinic also serves as a training site for my Internal Medicine residents at Aurora Health Care and our students from the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. Together, we can ensure that quality healthcare, dental care, and social services remain accessible to all members of our community regardless of their circumstances, and that our students and residents continue to gain valuable experience working in this unique venue.
