I retired from the Milwaukee Police Department in 2021, where I served as a homicide detective. Currently, I work as an investigator with Gruber Law Offices, and I’m also a licensed private investigator in Wisconsin.
One of my passions is my involvement with ExPosed Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and promoting healthy relationships. It’s fulfilling to play a role in such a meaningful cause.
This past year has brought a significant change in my life: I’ve embraced the rewarding responsibility of being a full-time dad to my youngest nephew. Initially, this transition was challenging for me. I found myself focused more on the circumstances that led to this situation rather than viewing it as a valuable opportunity for both of us. My experience of losing my sister to domestic violence has shaped my perspective and motivated me to advocate for domestic violence awareness.
I recognize that life brings a variety of challenges, including hurt and disappointment. However, I believe that by shifting our perspectives, we can appreciate the blessings we have.
I’m thrilled to participate in Stepping With The Stars! Although I was set to join in 2020, COVID had other plans. We’ve all been affected by cancer, whether through the loss of loved ones or through supporting those who are currently fighting. I’m truly grateful to Lisa for believing in me and including me in this wonderful event!
