When our friend Semir was recently diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL), his life changed overnight.
He is currently receiving care at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where he’s been surrounded by an incredible team of doctors, nurses, and staff.
But what has impacted him most are the children being treated nearby at Advocate Children’s Hospital—specifically those in the pediatric hematology and oncology unit.
In true Semir fashion, he made a selfless request: instead of receiving gifts or financial support for himself, he’s asking that we come together to support these young patients and the care they receive.
These children are facing battles no child should ever have to endure, showing strength and resilience beyond their years. Donations will go toward supporting the pediatric hematology and oncology unit—helping provide care, resources, and comfort to both patients and their families during incredibly difficult times.
This fundraiser is about turning one difficult moment into something meaningful for many.
If you were planning to support Semir, this is how he wants to make a difference.
---Donate if you can
---Share to spread the word
---Keep Semir and these children in your thoughts
Together, we can honor Semir’s strength by helping others who need it most.
