Please join me in funding a Grant to make Cold Capping with DigniCap scalp cooling available to anyone who is eligible to use it while undergoing chemotherapy. I began my cancer journey in August of 2023. It started at the world class Breast Center at Good Shepherd Hospital. I was told I would need 12 chemotherapy treatments and 25 immunotherapy treatments. The chemo would most certainly cause total hair loss. Fortunately my doctors listened to my needs and were able to secure the use of the DigniCap cooling system for me.

 I was aware of cold capping  because a dear friend had used it years earlier. I observed in her the confidence it gave her while she underwent the treatments for ovarian cancer, and the power it gave her to share her story only to those she chose to tell of her cancer diagnosis.  My journey was definitely made easier by the great results I received using the DigniCap. I had very minimal hair loss, and never had a headache, maybe a bonus of the cold cap.
