Bio:
I am a mother, daughter, wife and a Yaya (grandmother). I am proud to be all of those.
I am a great friend and trusted confidant to many. I am a consummate professional. I am a lifter of women. I am an influencer advocate and liberator of the disenfranchised & marginalized who have been impacted by the lived experience of poverty. My life is my work. My work is in love for my community. I heal. Lifting people is my super power !
I’ve successfully worked in Economic Development for more than 20 years.
From brick-and-mortar development to comprehensive city planning on to the development of people. I am passionate about community engagement and education and civic knowledge. I believe that when a community gets up off of its knees, it thrives !
My religion is Black women.
It is important to me that I live the life my soul aspires towards. Honesty, peace & light are my personal mandate. Love is my magic and joy is a must ! It is my firm belief that this world will never be right and whole until black women are regarded, respected, loved properly.
My Why:
To challenge myself to nail this dance. To honor the life and legacy of my family members who have now become ancestors as a result of this cruel disease. This is also in an effort to become my healthiest and best self. Stepping is wonderful exercise and can almost be meditative. To demonstrate that this dance isn’t limited to size and have the most fun while doing it !
