I am the coordinator of SHARE Perinatal Support Services at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downer's Grove, IL. Established over 30 years ago, SHARE's mission is to help families who experience a high-risk pregnancy, critically ill infant, pregnancy loss, or neonatal death. SHARE provides personal guidance for the entire family through the immediate crisis period as well as emotional, spiritual, financial, and social support in the days and even years after such an event. Services provided include memory boxes, photographs, art therapy, support groups, remembrance events, and direct financial support to help families cover the associated unexpected expenses. The program is entirely funded by charitable donations, and families never have to pay for what we provide.

It is truly an honor to be the coordinator of this program, as I have seen firsthand how the support SHARE offers can bring a ray of light and hope into an otherwise dark and devastating situation. I work closely with the Advocate Charitable Foundation to be sure that all of the funds donated to SHARE are used to support these families experiencing a perinatal crisis.
