On May 10, 2010, we experienced the worst thing any person can, the death of a child. After a completely routine pregnancy without complication, we reported to the hospital for a planned induction on my due date to discover our baby's heart had stopped beating. Charlotte Mary McBurney was born the next morning, where we first discovered she was a girl (although we both knew she would be), was held by family and friends, and buried a few days later. There is not a single day that we don't think of her and (based on her length and feet size) that she would likely be towering above her Mother and keeping her two little brothers in line. 

SHARE provided our family emotional support, an opportunity to connect with families in similar situations, and later a wonderful opportunity to honor our daughter by participating in their fundraising events. We are extremely grateful for any support of Friends of Share in the memory of Charlotte and the other angel babies in your life.
