Hope Shining Blue will celebrate its 12th year on Denim Day, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee.
This unique event, which recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the healing journey of survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as a one-of-kind fashion show featuring resilient survivors who have received free counseling and care at Aurora Healing & Advocacy Services’ (AHAS) Healing Center.
Community members, advocates, providers, and fellow survivors are encouraged to gather to learn more about the ways in which they are able to support the many services provided by AHAS, and Abuse Response Programs throughout the state of Wisconsin.
The program includes personal stories of brave men and women who are navigating their own healing journeys, alongside the dedicated members of the Aurora Healing & Advocacy Services team, who provide compassionate care through specialized nursing, advocacy, and counseling.
The generosity of sponsors, and donors, ensure these critical services are available, free of charge, to those in need.
